It’s interesting to look at the river bottom. Am I odd, I don’t know. But many of the places I would most often go fishing, have fairly dark waters. So when taking a trip to the Lapland, North-Sweden, or on the other-hand somewhere south from Finland. There is often the luxury to get to admire the vegetation of the rivers.
One of the rivers I fished this summer in the Lapland of Sweden had really spectacular river bottom. All sorts of different vegetation, some even blossoming.
Sometimes I forget myself watching and photographing the underwater grass. And then people wonder how come I still haven’t started to fish. When my last half an hour was spent trying to have a picture of a dry fly floating above the blossoming underwater flowers.
