Spring is pike time

This whole pike thing is fairly new for me. I love the idea that there is plenty of pike in our waters, and it’s fairly easy to catch the small ones. So you get a lot of events. At least that’s the theory.

So this spring my mind is on pike fly fishing.

The down side is that my one multipurpose rod isn’t so perfect for pike fishing.

(For those of your who haven’t heard it yet, I’m the laziest person when it comes to fishing gear. I have just one old rod, one super worn down fly line. And if I have anything else, those are lost most of the time.)

So how do I manage? I’m very good at borrowing things.
